120 Day late on one Credit Report

I screwed up and let my Gas bill become late by $50.00. I paid some but not ALL of the bill which their reporting as 120 days late.  I plan on applying for a mortgage later this year.  Is this going to be an issue if it's only reporting on one credit report.

Thanks!

Re: 120 Day late on one Credit Report

1) It doesn't matter if it is on one report or all three, it will show to the lender regardless

2) It may or may not be a problem, depending on the type of loan you go after

3) If it gets past AU, then more than likely it will not be an issue

Thanks for the reply SouthEast80. Middle mortgage score is currently sitting at 740. I was hoping for either a Conventional 97 or USDA loan. That would be my only baddie.

I guess it would depend on the individual lender and there overlays and what the DU came back with after AU was completed. I do not believe Fannie Mae has any guidelines about late payments and the timelines for those as they do with late mortgage payments.
