Are lenders using the new FICO 9 or stil using the older versions for mortgage scores?

I just pulled my husband's scores and realize there is a new FICO 9 score avaialble. Our mid 9 score is 617 and we need a 620. The older versions has our mid score at 634. So quite a difference. What can I expect?

to the best of my knowledge no lender uses FICO 9 for mortgage they use 04/05 versions

Mortgages are still using EX2/EQ5/TU4.
