She is having you pay some things so she can send in a dispute with CRA. It works with some collections were they are removed if the CRA contact them with a dispute. As to if she can do it without your ss number she will get that from you before submitting the dispute I guess. They do of course have ways to get your ss number anyway I think. She sounds like she has done this many times. Sometimes a sharp broker beats a by the book broker hands down in my opinion. Hey, if she deals with low scores and gets you approved to your liking its a win win! good luck. Keep us posted
As I stated before you must have given her something to start the home process. As such it seems she is acting in good faith on your behalf. did you sign an application of some sort. Give permission to pull your credit?
No. I have not signed anything at all. She has not pulled my credit, per she doe not have my ss#. I have not given her anything with my pertinent information on it such as my ss#. I have only forwarded her my personal pulled 3 bureau credit report from truecredit.com
Thanks
well than you shoudnt worry. Im thinking she is drafting some things for you to submit after you pay some items.
My question is essentially can she, the broker, send faxes to the bureaus to change reportings in my credit without any of my information. She has said that she has faxed the bureaus and to expect changes in my report.
Not drafting things for me to submit, she has said she has already faxed things over.
She does have your info. You sent her your credit reports.
My credit report doesnt havent the info i would think you would need to correspond with bureaus in regards to having things corrected. Its the same report that I would post here in the forum if i were asking for advice with my accounts. I wouldnt worry because it has no security info.
I'm just wanting to know does what she is saying seem or sound credible considering that.
It seems very possible to me that she could actually be doing what she claims she's doing.
Just based on having the credit reports that you gave her.
I wouldn't worry about it too much and give her some time. If you still feel uneasy about it, then call her up and ask her to explain exactly what she's doing and how she's doing it.
Please keep us posted.
