Chapter 13 question

My wife and I are looking to buy a home in the next 2 years, as a matter of fact we are in the home now that we plan on buying.  I don't think my income alone will carry the mortgage (I make $90k a year), we have discussed that the home will sell for $370k at this point.  My wife is in a Chapter 13 and will be for the next 5 years, can she go on the loan with me?  I appreciate any help.

Re: Chapter 13 question

People can get mortgages while in a Ch 13. You will need to get permission from the trustee for her to incur any new debt.

And while in CH13 you need to be at least 1 year into the payment plan with satisfactory payments.
