Thanks for all the advice and tremendous insight everyone! But even more valuable than that, is the camaraderie you get here. Today was a huge milestone on my ongoing credit repair journey and it feels really good to have achieved it.

I would highly suggest that you don't lose those keys. I can only imagine what the replacement costs would be. (Your title and story gave me my daily dose of humor. Thanks).

Congrats!!! if you dont mind me asking how much are your monthly payments going to be? Im currently looking for a house in that price range and every mortgage calculator i use gives me something different..Thanks

Thanks everyone! It is a 30 year fixed USDA @ 4.50%. My total monthly PITI is just over $1000. Without taxes and insurance I believe it's about $780.
