Closing Costs in Texas

I know it would probably just be an estimated guess, but does anyone know approximately the percentage closing costs would be in TX for an FHA loan?  I've seen other posts where it was stated closing costs are around 3% of the loan.  Just not sure if that would be the same for TX since our property taxes are ridiculously high here.

I'm in Texas and in the middle of an FHA with a local company. My loan officer told me it is generally around 3%.  On a $190K loan I think ours is around $6100.  We have to have $10,800 for closing $4700 of which is the remainder of our down payment. It also depends on if your mortgage company is charging any fees themselves or funding / origination fees which ours is not.
