Collection in the past 12 months?

We are, still, trying to get approved for a USDA Guaranteed loan. I know one of the UW guidelines are no collections in the last 12 months. My GF has a CA that reported in 10/11. What is the earliest we can apply for a loan? I guess technically the month of September will be the 12th month. Can we apply in October, or do we have to wait till November?

Pretty sure it's a year.

She should probably be sending out tons of goodwill letters. Getting a paid CO removed should really help her score.
