I recently applied for a USDA Direct loan. It has in the process for about 10 days. I have been told 2 different things regarding funds availability. One of the loan processors said funds were still available one said they were not.
My current lease is up mid November and I don't want to renew it. If I don't renew my rent goes up $100 month.
I am eligible for a VA loan as well. If I let another lender pull my credit to see how fast they can get me pre-approved will it hurt my chances of being approved by the USDA? It is doubtful that the USDA will get me closed and into a home by November.
Does anyone know if the VA and USDA rates are comparable ?
