Re: Early CAIVRS Removal

We just heard that a request for supression was submited on 04/14 and waiting for response. Does anyone know how long it takes to show up on CAIVRS?

Re: Early CAIVRS Removal

I submitted a request for suppression on 4/13/15 and I haven’t heard anything as of yet but I resubmitted a request today. My lender pulled my CAIVRS and it was still on there yesterday. I also have specialist working on the clearance and he said he doesn’t know how long it will take to remove it.

Re: Early CAIVRS Removal

We called and emailed on a daily basis. It took more than 2 weeks, possibly more than 3 - I lost count after awhile - for someone to finally get back to us. The key is to make sure you have a 'ticket number'. When I finally got an email response it was from a woman from HUD that identified herself as the 'caseworker's boss'. His name was David I believe. She stated that she was sorry no one had gotten back to us, but that the CAIVRs had been suppressed more than a week earlier!! David was supposed to have called us - and we were calling him on a daily basis - and let us know. He didn't. I truly believe they are overwhelmed with all this but they surely need a much better system to handle it.

Just keep trying and don't give up!

Good Luck!

Re: Early CAIVRS Removal

After my follow up email today, I received a reply stating, “Suppression was put in last week and we are hoping to hear something back soon. This office no longer processes suppression ourselves”. Today makes a week, so hopefully all will be cleared by the end of next week. Its a click of the button, so im not sure why it takes weeks.

Re: Early CAIVRS Removal

OUR CAIVRS IS CLEAR!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!   We rec'd an email from HUD this morning saying it was cleared and to have our lender re check CAIVRS. So our lender just called and said its HAS BEEN CLEARED.  I want to thank everyone on this BLOG. If it wasn't for this BLOG and all of the people that have given us hope we would have lost $5k and our dream house.

To everyone going threw the same thing, I have found that the best thing to do is call the 877 # indicated in earlier blogs and get a ticket #, read the HUD regulations I posted earlier and if you feel that your lended did not follow your states time frames, be persistant and referr to the HUD Mortgagee Letter.

I was persitant but nice. Everyone at the 877# was very helpfull except for one person. I just finished my call with him and called right back.

Re: Early CAIVRS Removal

I received an email today telling me my CAIVRS was clear. It took a little over 2 weeks from the day my case was reviewed. Stay positive, stay strong and don’t give up. I want to thank everyone who participated in the forum because it helped. Blessing to all that are working hard to get their name removed from this evil list.Smiley Happy
