Im currently in the process of buying a house. We have payment arrangements for our taxes which we can prove. We'll also need to put a payment plan in place for 2011. When we spoke to the IRS, they said they wouldn't be attaching 2011 taxes owed to the payment plan until after April. If we're trying to close in two weeks, could this be a problem?
