Home owners before 3yrs after a foreclosure

My husband filed chapter7 bankruptcy in 2010 it was discharged the same year. Home was included, BOA did not foreclose on the home until 2018 after we have worked really hard to get our credit back on track. Is there anyway we could possibly get a home loan or is it a mandatory 3yrs we have to wait? Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

If the home was foreclosed on in 2018, you have to wait unfortunately..

It really depends on 2 things.

1) Did you include the house in the bk & surrender it?

2) When did you move out of the property?
