Re: How long until my mortgage reports?

I don't know what to say about the calculators Booner and AMS.  Our general credit profiles are similar especially Booner's so I don't know why it's saying yours will go down when both my wife's and mine (FAKO that is) have gone up.  I know that my myFico pulled EQ report is showing the mortgage, that it's the only change to my report since the last score pull, and that my score went from 626 to 657.  +31 points.  I'll be curious to see what happens to your scores.  Please keep us posted.

Re: How long until my mortgage reports?

Oh u know it.

I just went from 635 to 627.  We refi'd our truck and the new one hit.  The other one had reported a zero balance.  So this is definitely due to AAoA loss (and possibly the inquiry damage from the car purchases hit?  It hasn't been a month though since the first one so maybe not).

I'm going to bet I get pretty close to 600 when that mortgage hits.

Re: How long until my mortgage reports?

Thanks for bring this post up, ams.

I just called again yesterday and the CSR and Wells said they wait 90 days - she says they do this to make sure everything is correct so that the customer doesn't get dinged credit for some bank screw up.  That makes sense to me.  I told her I heard it was after the 3rd payment, she says "NO, 90 days."

So I'm still waiting.

Score sim says I'll lose 30 points.

Re: How long until my mortgage reports?

Cool! Thanks for the info...90 days will be 12/12 for me so I should know any time...actually 90 days should have been 11/12 if they go from when the loan was funded....I guess it's still a waiting game.

FICO Simulator indicates between a 15-point drop to a 5-point gain...FAKO Simulator indicates a 59-point drop. I hope FICO proves to be correct Smiley Happy

Re: How long until my mortgage reports?

WOOHOO BABY!!

The mortgage hit TU - Credit Karma went up 13 points.  BTW, I usually don't check Vantage score but it's up 75 points since May, for whatever that's worth.

COME ON SCOREWATCH! !  Send me some LOVE today!

Re: How long until my mortgage reports?

IT REPORTED!  Just got SW alert.  I knew Saturdays rocked.

I got 9 points, so I'm back up to 635.

That STUPID score simulator said I'd lose 5-35 points.  Guess not!

YAY!! My mortgage reported!!  And I got good results, too.  Off to scour my new report now.

Re: How long until my mortgage reports?

Congratulations Booner!  That's great news about your mortgage reporting AND the BOOST in FICO.  The simulator was telling me that I would lose as much as 10 points or potentially gain as much as 30 points.  That thing is fairly good at predicting what your score will do when you pay down CC utilization but I think the algorithm is screwy where mortgage factoring is concerned.
