How soon should I pay off my car loan

I have taken $6200 for the car loan 48 months in Feb. My score dropped by 30 points due to high balance. I have paid off $3000 and now the balance is at $3000. Hopefully my scores should bounce back soon. As per the balance $3000 how months should I take to pay it off? 6 - 12 - 18 months? I can pay it off even sooner. What is the best number of payments to show on the CR?

as soon as you pay it off, you'll probably lose 30 points.

Your scores will bounce back.  Let your loan report a minimum of 6 months.  Your scores will drop after you pay off the loan...this is due to losing an acct. that is figured into your mix of credit.

Your scores will bounce back from that drop, also.  No one knows for sure how long it takes for scores to bounce back!
takin' it one day at a time
