I have a closing date!

Hi. I now have a closing date for my FHA loan. This is all so exciting and scary for me as first time home buyer. Now that I have a close date, what happens now? Do I just wait - and make no large purchases??

DO NOT make ANY purchases large or small on your credit cards.  Also, DO NOT do anything with your money that you have in savings.  The lender can request bank balances on the day of closing and they can also do another credit check!!!

Lenders are very nervous right now, and they are being very cautious.  And, rightfully so!!  I would NOT do a thing until AFTER you close your loan.

Basically, you sit and wait.  If the lender asks anything of you, do it.
