Im on a joint bank account with my dad. Can i use the money for my reserves

Im on a joint bank account with my dad in case something happens and either one of us needs money. My question is can i use the money in this account for my 2 months reserves. I have full access to the money at any time. thanks for the help

They will probably ask you to write a letter, saying you have full access to the account.
