Is FHA making changes to their Automated Underwriting System?

My loan officer told me I needed to find a house and be under contract before the end of this month because FHA was making changes to their Automated Underwriting System that could affect my pre-approval. She says it might decrease the amount I can borrow because they are decreasing the dti ratios that Automated Underwriting will approve. Since I was pre-approved with a 53% dti, if these changes take place before I lock in she will have to re-work my deal. Does anyone know of these changes?

sounds like a salesman who is pushing you to get a house fast so they can get paid.
approval is good for 120 days.... however, you have to have approval run again when you get a contract because the numbers used for approval were estimates and the final approval needs to match the loan.
ask th LO where they heard this super secret info
