It is over. I just closed on my home this morning. It was a hell of a ride. I was suppose to close on the 22nd, 29th of August, then the 5th, 7th, and the 10th of this month. I was good to see the smile on my wife face...my kids as well. The loan is a FHA loan, $280,000 with 5% down. Credit score of a 660, oh yea...I had a deed in lieu completed April 2009. Interest rate is 3.375% and the home is 3100sq Ft 5 bedroom, 3.5 bath with an unfinished room. I want to give thanks to MYFICO and everybody here. I came here a year ago "seeking the light" and I found it.
If you ever think that you can get a home loan with a deed in lieu, I am living proof. Also, I had a 51%dti as well.
Congradulations to you and your family!! How exciting that is!
Enjoy your ***HOME!***
congrats
WOW! That is awesome. You sounded like you really beat the odds. That interest rate sounds great as well. If you don't mind sharing........who did you go throgh for your financing?
Big congrats to you!!
Congratulations!!
Congrats!!
Who is the mortgage through? We were told since my husbands scores are over 640 that our dti can be up to 50%. With the house payment included we are around 50-51%, we are working to get it down the one percent in the next couple of weeks...just wondering which company would give on that one percent. (just in case)
I am just getting back from packing and moving (even though it is in the same neighborhood). I went with Franklin American with Principal Home Mortgage doing the initial process. The closing was simple and quick, 45 minutes, and I got the keys. I will make my first payment in November.
Congatulations and nice work!
Congratulations!
