Last payment before refi

I’m currently refinancing my house with the settlement date set for the 13th. The payoff amount included interest from 11/1-12/13. I have held back the dec 1 payment knowing the grace period is until the 15th. Should I make the dec 1 payment or is that included in closing?

You should pay the December payment otherwise will count late payment.

Yes, make the payment.  Any overpayment will reduce your closing cost.
