So I haven't seen a thread for May and June. Now that things are feeling a little more realistic for me, I thought I would start one!!
Company has all of our paperwork and we are currently waiting additional underwriting conditions. We have challenged credit, so we shall see what comes back!!!
Yeah Suzy!!
Yeah.. In a bit of a holding pattern waiting for the seller to do a few things, hopefully will have an actual estimated close day in the next couple days!

Thanks Catacam! Yayyy for you too!
YYYYYAYYYYYYY for all of us!!!!
I should maybe be more excited, but I think the other house dimed my heart light a little. After we close it will look like a tacky Christmas tree!!!! I love those the most!!!!
I wish you could all come to my house warming, cause we wouldn't have gotten here without al of you!!!
As it stands right now we are waiting to have an appraisor reinspect our property because they noted in the report about a broken trampoline and a missing interior door. The door was just off the hinge (from when the seller moved). I was really upset about having to be charged for a reinspection when come to find out the realtors knew the trampoline would be a problem. Why would they wait for me to pay 440.00 for an appraisal knowing another one would be needed. I have requested that they pay for the reinspection. I as a first time homebuyer did not know it would be a problem... me and my husband would have taken care of it ourselves if we had to.
Also we are getting a WDO done. I had the house inspected for termites but never got a WDO because it was not required. My broker stated that this past week the USDA required one of his buyers to get one so we are going to go ahead and knock it out. My broker still thinks that we will be closing sometime next week but we shall see.
I pray we all make it to closing and beyond : )
Man, where do you guys all live?? I see all of these home prices and they are so low. I am envious. I live in Portland, OR. and finding a place that is reasonably move-in ready in a desirable neighborhood will run you at least $350k- $400k.

OR is so expensive, so is CA where I'm at, but 350-400k means you are looking at nice neighborhoods.
Other posters are probably in cheaper states ike TX, AZ , NM, etc.
