Is there a loan company that does Mobile Home loans? Dad and I moved into a Mobile Home in 2007. Payments have been $419.08/month for 360 months + $420/month lot rent. It is financed through the MH park owner @ 11% interest on $44,006..smh. Over the 30 years time, it would have cost 4x that amount. .about $160k...$120k of that in interest.

Ironically enough, in the first 10 years of your 30 year loan, 80% of your principle and interest payment has been interest so if it's possible, I would recommend accelerating your payment schedule by paying additional principle on the current loan as long as there is no prepayment penalty.   

Definitely worth considering since your principle balance is reasonably low and closing costs alone tend to be more expensive on MFG homes.
