NFCU - Homebuyers choice mortgage

Has anyone applied for the NFCU Homebuyers choice loan with NFCU? Did they take FOREVER in initially approving your loan?  They told me initially 24-48 hrs....and we are waiting now almost an entire week....meanwhile I have a ratified contract sitting here waiting...I'm just wondering if they are usually this slow!

I sat down with the NFCU LO and entered my info.  48 hours later I had my preapproval letter.  We will see how things go now that I have an accepted offer.
