I thought USDA loans require a 640 credit score?

Nope! Depends on the lender. I have closed many USDA RD loans under 600.

I am in Virginia and I have a chapter 7 discharged of 07/29/19. Do you have any contacts I could reach out to for assistance in the area? Mortgage middle score 600. @homeloanexpert
