My husband and I are trying to get a new construction loan Feb 08. But we are having trouble getting his scores up past 550. He has no credit cards. Three public records all which are paid. How effective would it be if he were to get a secured credit card from our bank? I am not so sure that it would be so smart to try unsecured considering we want to purchase 08.
Any advise would be greatly appreciated.
