Not sure it matters...but curious?

I just re-read  in detail the letter I received when I re-fi'd in June.  Noticed the score range shows:

Beacon 5.0 (EQ) 334 - 818

FICO II (EX) 320 - 844

Classic 4 (TU) 309 - 839

.....while MyFico shows 300 - 850 for MTG scores for all 3 CRA.

Which is correct, or why the difference?

FICO - 8: 05/05/23

Re: Not sure it matters...but curious?

300-850 is the nominal range on all three - but it's not actually possible to reach the top or bottom of the range.

The listed ranges are the (correct) real-world reachable numbers for those three scoring models.

In newer scoring models (like FICO8 and FICO9), it's actually possible to reach the full 850 (but even with 8 and 9, it's not necessarily possible to reach 300 on all CRAs).
