No one closing in October yet around here but I have hope for the end of it. Final walk through is scheduled for October 25th and we hope we can close the same day or the latest final week of October . I also added 3 new bullets, one for general location of the home,one for Builder's name if new construction and one for Lenders Name, if you don’t want to disclose them that's fine but I think it will help others shop for mortgage:

Hi guys!! We started the credit repairing process one year ago and are finally within eyesight of the finish line! Phew!! It was a marathon which took a TON of patience, disgusting amounts of stress and at least a boxful of Kleenex to absorb some tears. All that aside, I hope to say in 2 short weeks that it was all worth it. Anywho, here it goes:

Maybe, but not likely, LOL. One can hope! We are flying to DFW for a week of househunting on Sat, so we are so excited! We are also going VA, so I know the delays there, but I just thought it would be fun to think that I could POSSIBLY close in Oct.
This has been the most stressful, longest process I've ever been through! The loan approval part of it was pretty straight forward and quick....but the building process has been an absolute nightmare! I guess if I had gone with a bigger builder instead of a small privately owned one I wouldn't be griping as much, but who knows! Below are my details:

Notes about Lender: Preferred lender for Cheldan Homes. Very easy to work with and very responsive.

We're supposed to close October 23rd and have an FHA, does anyone know what will happen if the Government shutdown occurs? We worked so hard, like most of you, to pay off credit cards and save, and I will be so bummed if it is delayed. Thanks!
