i signed yesterday, and it's officially off metrolist. can't wait to move!
Here's my little house in California. It may not be fancy, but it'll definately do as my first home.
Soreadytobuy,
That house is just lovely! In what state are you, if you don't mind.
Just a gem of a house it is.
How cute, Calichik.
I can't help but be a little jealous.
calichik-
That house looks so nice! Don't undersell yourself!
Coming from NYC the house I'm hoping to close on looks like a dilapidated shoebox compared to these homes!

Thank you. We are so excited. We live in Utah. We have already moved a lot of our things over to the new house and we are moving everything else on Saturday.

I can't believe you got this house for the price you did! I wish you many happy memories in your new home. (So long as the jerks give you the darn keys!)
You know I haven't been active here since I bought my home in March, but I browsed tonight and wanted to post my house too! Since we bought it, we've restained it and painted the porch and doors. I have a light sky blue porch ceiling now, which is old fashioned and traditional, and we painted the front door red.
Now instead of every extra penny going to savings for the house. It seems to be going INTO the house
I've spent a lot o ftime trying to identify the perennials, most of which you cannot see in this photo.
We love it though :-) And all the work done on it is high quality, everyone comments on it. I feel lucky, I could never have afforded this home before the housing market plunged.

Wow, I must admit I'm a little jealous that I won't get to close until August now
aquatic1,
I know you can get your scores up. My scores were so bad a couple years ago, I stopped looking at them. It takes some hard work and patience, but I know you can do it.
Great houses everyone!
