Preapproval length?

How long does it normally take to be preapproved after applying? I’m sure it varies, but in general if you go in with “ most” of your ducks in a row and paperwork?

Depends how busy an LO is. If your paperwork is first in line, a few hours.

I did my application over the phone and then submitted the paperwork needed online within the hour of that. I think it was around 11am and I had a pre-approval letter by 3pm.

I did mine through a loan officer through email back and forth and had letter same day. Started in morning had by afternoon and had all paperwork ready to go

My approval took about 2 hours as a walk in at the bank.

I hit the send button at 10:21 AM and I had an approval by 3:50 PM same day.
