When will lenders require 2018 W-2 ?

Good morning, I was wondering the same thing. I want to say they won't ask for 2018tax return and W2 until you have either filed already or after April 15th when tax season is over. We just were approved from underwriting and we applied for our mortgage January 13, 2019. They only requested tax info for 2017, 2016 and 2015. Hope that helps!

Yes they will want your 2017 & 2018 W2, some Lenders will also ask for your final paystub.

Yes I understand but at what point would they require 2018 W-2? Employers are required to mail mail 2018 W-2 by January 31st 2019. So after this date correct?

If your loan is scheduled to close any time in February you will see that Condition for 2018 W2
