Qualifying for a mortgage with less than 2 years 1099 work status

Hello everyone! Are some banks qualifying people who have a 1099 status with less than two years tax returns? Anyone with knowledge or experience in this area please reply. Would also like to know which banks if any.

Thanks!

Re: Qualifying for a mortgage with less than 2 years 1099 work status

I have been working for 1 year and 9 months, will be 2 years in June.  I have W2s for both years and now the bank wants me to be working for a full 2 years to be able to use all my salary for the amount I can get on a mortgage.  I was on unemployment before I got a job and they still won't use my entire salary in the calculations.  I am not sure what will happen in your situation.
