Question regarding pay raises

Does a certain amount of time need to pass after a pay raise before it is considered in qualifying for a mortgage?

Sort of,

They usually want to see at least 1-2 pay stubs reflecting the new income or sometimes they can do a VOE (verification of employment)

Thanks.  My husband has a couple of potential raises he can earn before we are ready to buy. I just wanted to see if I should be hurrying him
