WOW!! That would be awesome!! I wonder what they will consider "decent credit"?

The odds of this making it into the final plan are very very slim.

It was put forward as an amendment last week to the H.R.1 bill just passed by the Senate, and was voted down by a pretty good margin (70 something votes against).  Currently, it's in neither the House nor the Senate's stimulus package, and if they weren't able to get it into the Senate bill, where the GOP actually does have a little bit of leverage, I can't see this managing to get inserted into the final bill during the reconciliation process that is going on now.
