This is the model home in a new neighborhood. The builder wants to build a new model since this one is 6 years old. It is coming with a bunch of high-end furniture and appliances. It has a big professionally landscaped lot, too!

Re: September & October Closers

Was told today that I may not make it to my September 4th closing due to the holiday but the loan doc specialist will let me know tomorrow. This is the most stressful thing I've ever done. If this is a praying forum, please pray for me.

Re: September & October Closers

I'm having a real hard time getting my loan officer to respond to my emails and/or phone calls.  This is starting to be a problem for me.  I know that they are busy and dealing with multiple clients, however, I feel as though I'm just as important.  I have serious questions that need to be answered and between the loan officer and my real estate agent, I feel like I'm going nowhere really fast!  I'm mentally breaking.  Woman Mad

Re: September & October Closers

Trust me when I say I know how you feel. In general I am not a person who does much worrying however during the process we have been going through that is all I have done. Our house is suppose to be done next month so I look forward to the worrying to be over. My biggest issue in the process has been with delays from the builder for bone headed mistakes. It irks me to no end when they mess something up that in the end causes the finish date to be pushed out further. Once completed this will have been a very long 7 months..

I hate to say this but I'm sure glad that I am not the only one feeling this way.  I would've never thought that the path to home ownership was this hard.   Smiley Sad

Re: September & October Closers

@sok454. I am located in North Texas area. Housing here in Texas in general is much less expensive than many other areas. The stone/brick work that this builder does is what made us want to go with them. They have excelent workmanship! The other thing that drew us to them was the fact that this home has between the back and front porch  over 400 sq feet of covered patio space.
