So I needed my return transcript.
I waited on hold to speak to an IRS rep for 75 minutes. Not kidding. They said the Return Transcript gets posted two weeks after payment clears, or about 1 week after it posts to their systerm. Here is our timeline
4/15 paid taxes via check in the mail
4/23 check clears my bank
4/30 payment posts to IRS system
5/8 Return Transcript available for download from IRS website.
So just like the rep told me 1 week after posting to their website.
