I saw a thread yesterday about someone with an auto loan through USAA who had asked for a rate decrease after their FICO scores went up. I never though one could do that. So I called them this morning, knowing my EQ score (which they always use) had risen this past month. Not only did they refinance my car in Jan 07 (from 17% to 8.4% due to a BK in 2006), but they decreased my APR further to 6.44% this morning. Only 7 on-time payments and that was good enough for them. No need to pull my credit again. They finished up by telling me I could try every 6 months for future reductions. Awesome Company to work with!!
