USDA Are They Slow With Everything ?

I submitted my pre-screening form 2 weeks ago by fax. I called to make sure they received it and they did.   I have not heard from them at all. I can't see that they have pulled my credit or anything. If this is how it goes it's going to be a very long nerve wracking process.

USDA direct? Or USDA guaranteed? USDA guaranteed turned our approval around in 2 days. USDA direct does all of their own underwriting and yes they appear to be slower. Check out the USDA direct handbook to know what to expect. It is a good loan but not fast. There are a few direct loan stories on here.
