USDA Direct "Streamlined"?

Ive heard if you over a certian score (660 i think) the process is "streamlined" - meaning alot of the qualifications are sortof bypassed. (like rent verification and such)

Has this actually ever happened to anyone?

Re: USDA Direct "Streamlined"?

Hello,

The USDA "streamlined" process means that they don't fine tooth your credit report, rental history etc. If your middle score is above 640 this is information I received directly from the USDA rep last week.   From my research the 660 score comes into play if you needed an PITI waiver to exceed the 41% cut-off.

Hope that helps!
