Just wanted to see if anyone here in GA has gone through the USDA processing. We had our file submitted the 19th and it looks like they may get to it tomorrow. The website says it's looking over files for the 18th. I'm wondering if there is any chance we could hear back from them sooner? We just want to be able to close the 5th and be able to move before I have to fly out to California. We have a power of attorney on hand in case we close while I'm out of town. My husband will sign for me but I really wanted to be at the closing. I'm just hopeing that with all my hard work I put into getting this loan approved and for us to get this beautiful home I could finally be at the finish line and get the keys. (I spent almost 7 months fighting for this loan) I'm just getting my hopes up but I'm okay with my hubby signing.
Could you post a link to the location on the USDA site that shows what dates they are working on?
Thanks
Here is the link for Georgia. It's highlighted in red at the bottom of the page.

That is so neat that they have that. idt Ms does that,,,
I can't find it anywhere on the WV page either.
neither does South Carolina. Darn you georgia.
Neither does Indiana. ugh...
Well they are stuck in the 18th. This is the 2nd day in a row they are reviewing that date. Mine was submitted the 19th. That's my luck. Plus the attorney contacts me today to get the Power of Attorney notarized asap, right before a holiday. I leave out of town Monday. Talk about last minute crap. Would have been nice to get this on Monday? It's not like they were not notified last week about this.
I did find out at least in Indiana they're processing an average of 22.5 cases a day. Last we were told they had a 20 day backlog. Amazing to think there are that many houses being bought...
So did you get your loan? How long did it take?
