VA Closing Costs

I really hope somone can give me an idea of what the average closing costs would be on a VA loan.  The loan would be approximately $200k.  The VA Funding Fee will be waived and will therefore not be assessed to my loan.  I am just looking for a ballpark figure.  If anyone can enlighten me,  I would certainly appreciate it.  I hope to find a house before the end of the year.

costs will depend on whether you pay a loan origination fee or have it included in the rate

 

then there are prepaid items.

 

any lender can give you a quick gfe without applying.

Our loan will be about $260K and our estimated closing costs will be around $8K.  VA funding fee waived and we live in Texas.
