WRONG MORTGAGE BALANCE

Hello everyone, i just ordered my Transunion credit report and they are showing my mortgage balance as 205.00. I  only owe 102.00. I already disputed this item but they have not changed it yet.Wells fargo bought my  mortgage from Universal mortgage. Woudl this hurt my credit score. I was recently turned down by a credit card and iam wondering if this is the reason.Should i contact universal mortgage and have them update this? Ur input is greatly appreciated?

May be your  lender sold your loan to another lender , they didn't update yet , give them some time .

Thanks for your help.I oredered Equifax and Experian and they had the right information. I am hoping that transunion will repond to my dispute and correst this mistake.

TransUnion is very slow to update anything, and in my experience, won't update or correct it. I've had major issues with them in the past.
