Ok now I am going crazy. I went to the bank on 4/19 to apply for a mortgage. That afternoon, the loan specialist emailed me. He said I was approved through the automatic underwriter, but a human still would make the final decision. I submitted documentation, answered questions, etc. I was sent to the main loan processor, whom I spoke to on a daily basis. Per conversations with her, everything was back from underwriting. We had the appraisal completed, septic, and pest completed and the insurance out to look at the house.
Well, she went on vacation and now I'm dealing with a new person. He just requested that I send him all the documentation I proved the mail loan processor. He failed to provide him everything. I asked if everything was OK, he said he has all findings from the underwriter and was waiting for one last thing.
We were suppose to close Friday. But this guy won't give me confirmation. He said we would have to wait and see. I need to give my job at least 24 hr notice.
What else could be out there? The bank already contacted State Farm for my insurance binder. It is now 5/29 and nothing...
I'm getting a little upset.
