My husband and I are in the process of trying to buy a home. We are under contract, but it's pending financing. My myfico scores are TU 630 and EQ 575...when my lender pulls my credit, she is getting 585 for TU. Why is there such a big gap??
There are two different scoring models. The one you get here is the old TU98. The one most lenders pull is the newer TU04. Your EQ should be identical to what your lender pulls. The TU score you get here is really not worth the money you pay for it in my opinion since most lenders do not use this anymore. You will see some people on this board say some lenders still use the TU98 model but they are far and few between.
What is your Experien score?
690. It came from a lender pull. All of my scores recently came from a lender pull. I am going through the home buying process. The lender pull is about the only way to get your Trans and Experian. I think there is some way to join some credit union in Pennsylvania and they will give you a true Experian score otherwise you have to have a lender pull it.
Hi gagum 129 - I was asking the OP what their EX score was to see if hthe middle score was high enough for a mortgage.
You've got great scores! I'll bet you'll see over 700's soon.
