It could. When you refi your new mortgage will report and that can impact your average age of accounts as well as ding you for the new credit reporting. The amount of the ding will vary based on your credit, but I would expect to fully recover inside a year and the ding would be 20 or less. Again, YMMV. Could be more or less.
