I read that fha plus loan minimum is 620. My loan officer is asking for a 640. We put in an offer on the home based on a pre approval letter with my mid score at 670 and my wife 631. Can we get the fha plus loan without 640?

640 may be the minimum score requirement for that particular lenders.  620 is the absolute minimum, but lenders can add stricter guidelines.
