Hey All,
When do they generally mail 1099 for the earned interest income? I saw online that last year, people were waiting till Feb 15 or maybe after Feb 15th(it's unknown to me when did they receive the 1099 ) and wondering if it's worth waiting till that time.
For Insight:
I only have one quarter interest income. I am trying to figure out how can I find out the amount of interest I earned?
For Netspend:
I looked at the past statements online and it didn't clearly tell me how much I earned until Dec 2018.
If there's any way to figure out the earned interest income for netspend and insight, please let me know.
Thanks

1099-INT Deadline (1099-INT Due Dates)
Send Copy B of the 1099 INT form to the recipient by January 31, 2019.
File Copy A of form 1099-INT with the IRS by February 28, 2019.
If you are required to file 1099 INT forms electronically, the due date is April 1, 2019.

Thanks. Do you know when do they mail the forms (if you have received it in 2018) ?
I've already received mine from Discover, and another form some other Bank.
Thanks. I have also received 1099 INT forms from other banks. Trying to figure out the timeline for these two banks specifically. Probably, those who has their account opened in 2017 or before would know about it. I opened my accounts in 2018 only and hence not sure about it.
