1. I would avoid debt consolidation loans. They usually just get you in deeper.
2. I would avoid Slate. They usually give you too small a starting limit to be of any value.
3. My recommendation would be to join a credit union that has a non-rewards platinum card with no balance transfer fee and low interest.
