I was concerned about it. I had just paid off several credit cards that morning. I was worried that the payments would bounce back. I was happy to find that over the weekend, everything cleared fine and I didn't have any fees or bounced payments. I'm just lucky that I received my tax return two days before the outage and payday was one day before the outage so my money was already in the bank.
I did follow the BB&T FB to read the comments. It was pretty intense.
This is why I keep funds at both a bank and credit union, so I’m not locked out of my money. I don’t bank there anymore, but my mom does. Luckily they removed all the duplicate charges.
