I just updated my app, and lo-and-behold part of the update is Zelle is now supported natively!
I'm having a bit of trouble getting it set up (I'm not receiving the email verification message) but I suspect that's either due to the late hour or because it's brand-new, either way I'm willing to cut them some slack assuming the glitch is worked out. (I had to add an email address since the address they have on file is already in use with Zelle at another bank.)
This was one of the only things preventing me from considering them over USAA for my primary checking. Now that they have Zelle (without having to use a separate app) if I ever need to transistion from USAA I'll feel extremely comfortable moving over to Schwab for my primary checking needs.
Thanks for the heads up, UncleB! About beaver dam time they finally provided this service 😂
Actually surprised it took them this long considering they're one of the best checking accounts just for their debit card alone
Thanks for posting@UncleB , Logged into my Schwab Mobile APP and sure enough "Zelle pop up"
The email link did not send as you had mentioned, so I had to use a cell phone# to register.
The cell # was registered at Service Credit Union, it was super easy to transfer the # over to Schwab.
Did a $50 Test from US Bank to Charles Schwab, worked flawlessly
Just weird that it shows up as a "VISA" deposit at Schwab, as I did verify that it was pulled from my checking at US Bank.
A Few screenshots;
I just tried the email verification again, and this time it worked! Now I can send funds via Zelle between USAA, Wells Fargo, and Schwab - whoo-hoo!
Granted, USAA's ACH transfers are really fast (often same day for transfers to Schwab) but I like having the option to use Zelle as well.
I can't say enough good things about Schwab... so far they've been flawless.

Keep this up and I might have to have Schwab?!
What are the limits for how much you can transfer in a day (or any other limit)?

Transfer limit is $100k in and $100k out per day. This can be raised if you ask Schwab

You can transfer that much through Zelle? That would be an incredibly high limit compared to other banks using Zelle. The Terms and Conditions say you can check daily and monthly limits by selecting the "Limits" tooltip icon on the Request/Enter Amount screen. Has anyone actually done that?
I can't do a screen capture (app won't allow it) but my Zelle transfer limits are:
Daily limit: $2000
30 Day limit: $5000
I don't know if this is the same for everyone or if it's adjusted based on customer type/relationship (like some other banks do).
