Credit report bank and loan late

On my credit report, while my loan is late it show as late, but the bank also show late at the same time. Is it normal?

If I get the loan removed, would it fix the bank too.

Yes, that's normal and no, it won't.

Yes the loan is late but it's a mistake. The bank is BOA.

So are you saying if I fix the loan side, the bank will still show a late payment?

Ummm yes.

If the loan is late, it's late.

The bank is reporting accurate information to the CRA's and fighting with the CRA's about it won't change the actual status of the loan.

If it's a late, the bank is reporting correctly. They are legally required to report accurate info.

Do not dispute!!! It will come back validated and further ding your score.

You may try a GW letter with loan and bank. Most likely denied with BofA. The GW letter process can be found in the Rebuild section. Good luck!

By "mistake", do you mean you made a mistake, or BOA made a mistake?

They are mistakes we did. Some other where programmed with auto payment and did not went through on bank side.

If the bank made a mistake, then hopefully they will have the incorrect late removed from your credit report. This might not be automatic, you might need to talk to them. If you made a mistake, then you are most likely stuck with it.
