Knoxville TVA Employees Credit Union does this, we get our check stubs on Thursdays.

I have the money in my account Monday afternoon, 3 days before I even get the physical paycheck stub.

What are the membership eligibility requirements for Knoxville TVA Employees CU?

Re: RBFCU - Early direct deposit now available.

I can confirm this information. My work send the deposit on Wednesday. It shows up and is available in my RBFCU checking on Thursday morning at about 6am-ish. My old bank used to hold the funds until Friday. DCU also makes the funds available on Thursday.

Discover It $2k // Target Red Card - $700 // Synchrony Home - $2,500 // Merrick $700 // Legacy Visa $750

The FCRA and FDCPA are laws, whether the creditors and debt collectors like it or not. Inaccurate information is ILLEGAL and banks ARE NOT REQUIRED to report anything (unless it's a correction to INACCURATE information).

Have you had experience with this recently? I am considering Varo but doesn't the whole 0 day 1 day 2 day early deal depend on when your employer sends the info to your bank/fed?

Aside, how do you like Varo?

Re: Credit unions with early direct deposit

I can confirm Baxter Credit Union (BCU)! I normally get paid Friday morning and just got my direct deposit Wednesday July 24 at around 9pm in Minnesota Central time (I Live in Minnesota)

As said, eligibility is very limited. Geo restricted to parts of the Chicago metro area or gotta work for companies in their field of membership (Baxter Health Care, Target, Boston Scientific, Cardinal Health are some of the big ones. They have numerous others. They're all listed on their website)

The company I work for (Cardinal Health) makes me eligible. I just started with Cardinal Health around 2 months ago and the person doing my orientation/onboarding told us about BCU and that working here makes us eligible and explained the early direct deposit and encouraged us to sign up.

Re: Credit unions with early direct deposit

2 Credit unions listed as very limited that may or may not be...

Mountain America is on DepositAccount's big list of credit unions anyone can join by joining the American Consumer Council for a small fee. I have no exerperience or knowledge of this credit union so someone with more knowledge would have to chime in but I do see the American Consumer Council listed on their select employee groups on their website. They don't really advertise it anywhere on their site though as "Anyone can become eligible to join by becoming a American Consumer Council for $XX.XX" like Penfed or DCU does as everyone being eligible by joining/donating to random company/association/whatever. Now the thing that i'm not sure, are they talking about people that are members of the American Consumer Council, or just strictly employees that work for them? As that is two completely different things.

Golden 1 is also on that list as being open to anyone by joining the Financial Fitness Association for $8 and someone in the comments said those outside of California can only open deposit products like checking and savings. But on their website and online application I see no mention of the Financial Fitness Association so I don't know if they got rid of it and changed their field of membership or what. The Financial Fitness Association website still lists members of the association as being eligible to join Golden 1 though... Can anyone chime in?

I have found those lists to be out of date.

Andrews Federal Credit Union - 1 day early - Anyone can join by joining the American Consumer Council. You can join the ACC by free by using promo code "Andrews"

https://www.andrewsfcu.org/join-andrews-federal-credit-union.html

Point Breeze Credit Union - 1 day early - Geo Restricted or work for an employer in their field of membership. Have to join in person at a branch or can mail an application if you're joining via an affiliated group/business partner.

Sky One Federal Credit Union - 1-2 days early - Geo Restricted or work for an employer in their field of membership

United States Senate Federal Credit Union - Sounds like up to 2 days early - Open to everyone. Few different options, ACC just like Andrews Federal Credit Union and you can use promo code USSFCU to waive the fee to join the ACC. Few other organizations you can join to make you eligible as well.

https://www.ussfcu.org/apply-online/apply-for-membership.html

Union Square Credit Union - Up to 3 days early depending when they receive them from your employer - Geo restricted to some counties in Texas and Oklahoma but anyone in Texas can join by joining the Texas Consumer Council. Also if you're a member of the Red Cross North Texas region or Oklahoma Region.

GPO Federal Credit Union - Up to 1 day early depending when they receive funds - Looks to be geo restricted or organizations and businesses within their field of membership. I wasn't able to find a list anywhere on the website or on their online application as to which organizations/employers/business would make you eligible (And their "online application" isn't really an online application from the looks of it. It says after submitting that they'll mail you the full membership packet to fill out and either mail back or take to a branch to join)
