I know on the Apple card they soft pull TU and give you the approved limit and only do an HP if you accept it. They also check Chexsystems.. I haven't heard of any CC companies that pull EWS but that doesn't mean that none do. Since Goldman pulls Chex for Apple, I would imagine they pull it for other products as well.
